St. Louis - The National Rifle Association today endorsed Roy Blunt for United States Senate noting his strong record of standing up for our Second Amendment freedoms.
The NRA announced the news during a six-city tour on which Roy Blunt was joined by Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the NRA, Chris Cox, the executive director of the NRA's Institute for Legislative Action, and Governor Matt Blunt who earlier this year was elected by NRA members from across the country to serve on the NRA's Board of Directors.
“Roy Blunt fights for our freedom. He earned the NRA-PVF endorsement by supporting our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage every time,” said Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the National Rifle Association. “Missouri’s gun owners and hunters need that level of dedication in the U.S. Senate.”
