Top 10 Reasons Missouri Democrats Aren’t Going to Democrat Days

Hannibal – With little to celebrate this year, many Missouri Democrats have decided to stay home this weekend and skip the annual Democrat Days. Here are just a few of the excuses Missouri Democrats are giving for their absence:

10.) "No Democrat accomplishments to applaud."

9.) "I’m not going because they won’t let me bring my gun in."

8.) "I’m done with Democrat meetings until we find someone to run for the Kit Bond seat. My wife claims she saw someone running on YouTube about a year ago, but we haven’t heard anything since."

7.) "I don’t want to end up on a witness stand if SEIU thugs beat people up again like they did at the Russ Carnahan town hall."

6.) "I can’t stand to look at Tom Carnahan’s Made-in-India wind turbines on the way."

5.) "If I wanted to know where Robin Carnahan stands I’d listen to an Obama speech."

4.) "I’m attending a Francis Vangeli fundraiser. At least he’s out working and meeting the people."

3.) "I’m not giving to Robin Carnahan. I’m saving my money for the Obama-McCaskill fundraiser (I hope they let Robin come!)."

2.) "I’m running for local office, I don’t want my photo taken with Robin Carnahan."

1.) "No one else is going, including the keynote speaker."
