Rubberstamp Robin Carnahan: Hiding from Missourians for 400 Days

Jefferson City - Four hundred days ago, on February 3, 2009, Rubberstamp Robin Carnahan pre-taped an Internet announcement of her candidacy for the U.S. Senate. Her staff then put the tape on YouTube. Since then Carnahan has avoided Missourians and the media, refusing to explain her radical stances in support of government-run health care, a massive job-killing national energy tax under "cap and trade," the so-called "stimulus" bill and compulsory unionization without secret ballot elections for Missouri workers.

Last year, Carnahan chose to travel the world instead of campaigning in Missouri. This year she's spending most of her time on the east and west coasts discussing how she would rubberstamp the liberal agenda of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama. Carnahan recently completed a highly publicized fundraising swing with environmental extremists in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon, then flew over Missouri again to the opposite coast for a fundraiser last night in New York City.

Top 10 Reasons Missouri Democrats Aren’t Going to Democrat Days

Hannibal – With little to celebrate this year, many Missouri Democrats have decided to stay home this weekend and skip the annual Democrat Days. Here are just a few of the excuses Missouri Democrats are giving for their absence:

10.) "No Democrat accomplishments to applaud."

9.) "I’m not going because they won’t let me bring my gun in."

8.) "I’m done with Democrat meetings until we find someone to run for the Kit Bond seat. My wife claims she saw someone running on YouTube about a year ago, but we haven’t heard anything since."

7.) "I don’t want to end up on a witness stand if SEIU thugs beat people up again like they did at the Russ Carnahan town hall."
