New Poll: Roy Blunt Leads Robin Carnahan by 10 Points

A new poll out today shows Roy Blunt again leading Robin Carnahan by double digits.  According to Rasmussen Reports, Roy Blunt leads by 10 points (53%-43%). Read the poll here.

Missourians are responding positively to Roy Blunt's issues-based campaign.  He is offering real solutions like his Jobs for Missouri plan to help create private sector jobs for Missourians by lowering taxes, stopping out-of-control spending, cutting red tape and producing more American energy.

Robin Carnahan has tried to make this campaign about anything but the issues Missourians care about.  In her non-stop, negative false attack ads, Robin Carnahan attempts to hide her extreme liberal positions and her rubberstamp support for the job-killing agenda of Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Missourians are not being fooled by her attempts to distract from the real issues in this election.

Have you seen Carnahan's attack ads?

If you've been watching TV recently chances are you've seen one of Robin Carnahan's false attack ads.  These negative ads have one thing in common.  None of them say anything about why Robin Carnahan's running for the U.S. Senate or what she would do if she got there.  That's because Robin Carnahan doesn't want Missourians to know she's running to be a rubberstamp for the liberal, job-killing agenda of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama. 

This is why Roy Blunt needs your help today to make certain Missourians learn the truth about Robin Carnahan.
 
Here are a few things you won't see in Robin Carnahan's TV ads:
 
* Robin Carnahan supports more than $3 trillion in new big government spending.
 
* Carnahan supports the cap and trade national energy tax that would kill more than 32,000 Missouri jobs. 
 
* Rubberstamp Robin supports the colossal failure so-called "stimulus" bill.
 
* Carnahan supported the government takeover of health care with a nearly $570 billion job-killing tax increase.
 
* Robin Carnahan opposes making the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts permanent which would result in the largest tax increase in American history.
 
Roy Blunt is running an issues-focused campaign. Perhaps you've seen the ad where Roy Blunt talks about his background in education and his concern about how out of control spending and debt is killing jobs and threatening our children's future.  Or the one where we show how Roy Blunt will work for Missouri, not Barack Obama.  Or the ad where we discuss Roy Blunt's long-history of cracking down on Wall Street fraud.  Or the one where we talk about how Roy Blunt is a strong, independent voice for conservative values.
