St. Louis - Having endorsed the failed jobs and economic policies of President Obama at every step and trailing in polls, "Rubberstamp Robin Carnahan now is resorting to deceit. After repeatedly opposing plans to make existing tax cuts permanent at year's end, Carnahan now seeks to trick voters by claiming falsely to be pro-tax relief.
Robin Carnahan has now aired two deceitful TV ads, both attacking her opponent for a bipartisan vote in 2008 that she has admitted she would have "absolutely" supported. St. Louis - After reviewing its content, KTXR Radio in Springfield is the first radio station to pull an erroneous radio ad being aired by Robin Carnahan's liberal allies at the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME). Missouri radio stations received a cease and desist letter this week regarding the ad and the Missouri Broadcasters Association has told radio stations: "Do not ignore the letter. You are advised that you should respond"
The liberal Democrat for U.S. Senate, Carnahan is offering obvious deceit to independent and Republican voters, while pro tax-increase liberals can feel betrayed by her lack of principle, and willingness to say anything to hide her record of rubberstamping the Pelosi, Reid, Obama liberal agenda.

KTXR Radio First to Pull False Ad Attacking Roy Blunt
"Missouri broadcasters have been advised that this is a deceptive and false advertisement that should be pulled from the airwaves immediately," said Roy Blunt's campaign spokesperson Rich Chrismer. "As Robin Carnahan and AFSCME should know, the 27th Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits Members of Congress from voting to increase their own pay. This liberal group has a history of false, malicious, smear advertising. We encourage Missouri broadcasters to review the content of the ad, review the U.S. Constitution, get the facts and join KTXR in pulling this advertisement. Once again, an ad associated with Robin Carnahan is placing Missouri broadcasters needlessly at risk."
